Before I started in academia a few years ago, I was a research consultant working on innovation in health and social care. That is still my topic, tbh. Though nowadays I focus very much on data: data infrastructures, data linkage, data analysis, data application to improve health and social service provision. I work with small, medium and big data, atm mostly with claims data of German health insurances.

This blog is about a special subset of the data I work with: data on palliative care. I am doing my PhD on different aspects of palliative homecare services and via this blog, I am sharing my experiences along the way. Approaches, methods, lessons learned, references to my results (sorry, I still have to publish those in peer-reviewed journals to get my PhD).

If that is of interest for you: follow me, get in touch, let me know what you think.
